While traditional Japanese art—such as hanging scrolls, ukiyo-e, folding screens, and Nihonga—has long attracted international attention, the global popularity of manga and anime has sparked renewed interest in Japanese contemporary art within the fine art world.

Against this backdrop, Nakamura supported a group exhibition featuring internationally recognized Japanese contemporary artists, contributing to the growing visibility and appreciation of modern Japanese creativity on the global stage.
